Peppe Bailin, Religious School Secretary

Peppe Bailin, Religious School SecretaryPeppe is originally from New Jersey, and met Harry Bailin, her husband-to-be, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he was in the service. They were married at the previous Congregation Ahavath Sholom building on 8th Avenue by Rabbi Garsek, and have lived in Fort Worth since 1968. She and her husband took over Bailin’s Shoe Store from his parents, and ran it for many years, selling shoes, purses, and many other items.

Peppe taught first grade in the religious school for twelve years, and worked full-time at CAS for five years as the receptionist. She says the best part of working for the school is the opportunity to help the students. Attending minyan is her favorite mitzvah.
