Founded in 1892, Con­gre­ga­tion Aha­vath Sholom is the largest and only Con­ser­v­a­tive syn­a­gogue in all of Fort Worth and Tar­rant County. We have been in our cur­rent loca­tion for over two decades. We take great pride in pro­vid­ing a warm and nur­tur­ing envi­ron­ment where your par­tic­i­pa­tion is wel­come and encouraged.

Our syn­a­gogue is for­tu­nate to have the ser­vices of Rabbi Gary Per­ras as our spir­i­tual leader. Our Reli­gious School adheres to our tra­di­tion of qual­ity pro­gram­ming and high edu­ca­tional results.

Ser­vices are held each day of the year, morn­ing and evening, in a friendly and relaxed atmos­phere. Our con­gre­ga­tion is both warm and invit­ing to all mem­bers for spir­i­tual growth. We strongly encour­age our mem­bers to serve in lead­er­ship posi­tions — help­ing to con­duct ser­vices, serv­ing on the board of direc­tors, tak­ing on new and chal­leng­ing projects, and inter­act­ing with the young and old of our con­gre­ga­tion. All from the com­mu­nity are wel­come and are impor­tant addi­tions to the synagogue.

Our con­gre­ga­tion is made up of fam­i­lies, cou­ples, and indi­vid­u­als, so become part of our larger family!
