Welcome to Congregation Ahavath Sholom's Prayer/Tefillah resource pages. Here you will find the prayers/tefillot for our LEC 3rd & 4th grades and the prayers/tefillot for our LEC 5th & 6th grades. The individual prayers/tefillot are listed alphabetically.
Each prayer/tefillah has a page with the Hebrew and its English translation, a separate transliteration page to help with pronunciation, an MP3 of the prayer/tefillah spoken, and an MP3 of it sung.
To help your student learn, we encourage adults to follow along with the transliteration (if that helps you), while your student reads from the Hebrew page. Listen to the MP3 audio files together.
Parental involvement is key to the success of our LEC prayer/tefillah program. We encourage and nurture the involvement of parents with students.
